Dr. Claudia Day, PhD, HSPP, is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University, with a minor in Sport and Performance Psychology.
Claudia specializes in treating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has extensive experience supporting young adults and adults across telehealth, university counseling centers, and community mental health settings, with a particular focus on high-achieving women.
She works with individuals experiencing anxiety-related concerns, including excessive worry, panic, social anxiety, perfectionism, obsessions and compulsions (OCD), trauma-related symptoms, and challenges related to attention, organization, and emotional regulation (ADHD). She also has experience supporting student-athletes and individuals navigating identity, achievement, and burnout.
Claudia helps clients manage intrusive thoughts, reduce avoidance behaviors, process traumatic experiences, and build effective coping skills using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). For ADHD, she uses CBT to teach practical strategies for improving time management, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through, while promoting problem-solving and self-regulation skills to enhance daily functioning.
Claudia is a member of the International OCD Foundation and participates in regular trainings and consultations to stay up to date on best practices for treating anxiety disorders, OCD, and ADHD.
She is licensed to practice in Indiana.
