Leslie Sommer, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work from Indiana University. She specializes in treating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Leslie works with individuals experiencing anxiety-related challenges, including excessive worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, perfectionism, obsessions and compulsions (OCD), and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).

She helps clients manage intrusive thoughts, reduce avoidance behaviors, and build effective coping skills using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for body-focused repetitive behaviors.

For ADHD, Leslie uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to teach practical coping skills to manage symptoms like poor time management, procrastination, and emotional regulation. Additionally, she helps her clients change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and focus on problem-solving, planning, and self-control strategies to improve daily functioning and reduce anxiety.

Leslie is a member of the International OCD Foundation. She participates in continuous training and consultations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for anxiety and OCD related disorders. She is licensed to practice in Indiana.
